今回は私のライフワークでもある「森林浴で健康になろう」というコンセプトをより具体的に、また手軽におこなえる方法をお伝えしたいと思います。
本来は山奥の都会の喧騒を離れた森林セラピー基地なる場所でおこなうのが一番良いのですが、今回は『手軽に』を重視しましてある隠れた都心の人口森林をご紹介してしたいと思います。

東京の都心池袋駅直通の利便性でも申し分のないこの百貨店こそが、森林浴を欲するものにとって唯一無二のオアシスであることをご紹介していきたいと思います。

JR山手線の南改札より東口方面へ。西武池袋本店の地下1階よりエスカレーターを使い、その階ごとのディスプレイを楽しみながら季節感や流行を肌で感じていきます。
それぞれの階に目を奪われながらも本日は目的の階がございます！それは…
本館9階屋上に存在するオアシス、『食と緑の空中庭園』なる屋上です！
今回はこの空中庭園での癒しをご紹介していこうと思います😁
まずは本館南より出ると警備員さんが早速お出迎えです。この庭園をしっかりと見張っておられ非常に頼もしいです！
そして辺りを見渡してみますと人があまりおりません。このご時世ですから仕方ないとは思うのですが、この状況で平日の11時30分です。池袋のど真ん中にもかかわらず非常に静かであります。またその証拠に…
アゲハチョウを発見です😲…近づいても逃げないなー。
そしてこの屋上にはレジャースポットが2ヶ所存在します。
その1つがフィッシュショップ！
フィッシュショップとは謳っておりますがほとんどが金魚です😀
しかしその種類がすごい！淡水魚や熱帯魚を含めると約150種類に及ぶそう。そして何よりすごいのが釣堀完備であります。
そしてもう1ヶ所がガーデニングショップ。ここも非常に個性的で多肉植物の種類がハンパない！！
正直、引くほどあります^^;
ちなみに併設する「誠香園」では東洋蘭をメインに小盆栽を。
「COTO tree HIBIYAKADAN」では観葉植物をメインに販売しています。
まずはフィッシュマーケットとこの緑の植物をゆっくりと鑑賞しながら、静かな空間で心ゆくまで癒しをお楽しみ下さい。深呼吸をして心を落ち着かせてゆっくり鑑賞するのがコツです。
そして次に
フードエリアを通り過ぎまして、
おっと、途中に撮影スポットを発見！…もうすぐハロウィンなんだな。
寄り道をしましたが今回のメインどころ
「睡蓮の庭」の入り口に到着です。
小さなカカシもお出迎えでなんか嬉しい。
このお庭はここが屋上であることを忘れさせてしまうほどの美しさです。それがこちら！
どうでしょうか。このお庭は季節ごとに植え替えられる植栽コンテナでおよそ50種類以上のバラや季節の花々が楽しめるそう。画家のクロード・モネの晩年の作品「睡蓮」にインスピレーションを得たそうです。
ここにはベンチも設置されていまして、一休みしながら絵画の世界に浸るのもよろしいのではないでしょうか？
ここで十分な癒しに浸ったならば最後にこちら！

まさかの伏見稲荷がこのお庭の奥に鎮座しております。最後にここで手を合わせ都心の森林セラピー終了です。
